Make a Plan and Adapt When There Is a Need!

Do you want to reach your future state, your horizon? To do so, you need to have a plan and ensure you know the pitfalls and weaknesses to reduce the risk of failure.

Strategy development
  1. The Indepth external analyses considers competition, customers and other external factors.
  2. The indepth internal analysis looks at the maturity level of the organisation, if the organisation needs changes and other internal factors.
  3. SWOT analysis
  4. Define strategy, mission and vision development.
  5. Roadshow, everyone on board?
  6. Deploy strategy!
Monitoring progress

Depending on the organisation:

  1. Create site or department master plans
  2. Create individual plans per site or department to support the overall strategy
  3. Monitor by, e.g. OGSM (Objective , Goals , Strategies and Plans) dashboard

Reaching a goal is a joint effort. Make sure that with celebrating successes the whole organisation is taken into account!

Have a clear celebration plan prepared with key milestones, and stick to it, so it doesn’t fall into the “to do later” pile.
